BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! 40 years of bug fixing and the routers and switches still have many of the same severity one bugs like subsystems not even coming up. Cisco's products aren't even consistent from one board to the next in the same chassis. No other company I ever worked for could survive the kinds of overruns that are common at Cisco. These are just some of the reasons Cisco has been acquiring instead of developing for the last 30 years.

Unfortunately the acquisitions need to be integrated to realize their value and as technology becomes ever increasingly complex it appears that it's beyond Cisco's current skill set.
