Yeah unless youre a contractor who doesnt even get benefits or severance. Imagine telling people i work for cisco for $20 an hr and still might get laid off
Either you're trolling or stupid. Contractors who doesnt even get benefits or severance are not employees and don't get "laid off". And you're right, you don't get severance.
Contractors have their contracts abruptly ended, or just not renewed at the end of a quarter. Most likely, you'd already be cut before the Sept 16th employee notification.
