The only thing constant at BNY is layoffs. BNY lays off more staff on an annual basis than 85% of most U.S. companies. And BNY is barely considered a U.S. firm anymore -everyone is either in India or Poland. If you are over 50, forget it - you will be fired & replaced by cheap labor offshore. The US employees that remain will spend an extra 25 hours per week fixing the f*ck ups of the inexperienced offshore staff.
Just saw an intvu w/ the CEO on CNBC. With a straight face, he said there are some great perks at the firm such as free coffee!! Unbelievable. No surprise most of the employees there are miserable.
