There's no reason to discuss being laid off. I've had several interviews and no one ever asks why I left my previous job.

You got laid off, got a job with a salary that makes others envy yet you are here to lay revenge on someone who back stabbed you?

That's quite the tall tale there

I was 20 years at Dell and unfortunately part of the recent WFR. That said, I have no hard feelings, in MSD’s shoes I’d probably do the same with the business. I cannot complain and was taken very good care of as I left, I have no resentment or bitterness about leaving whatsoever. I have nothing but gratitude for the opportunities I had during my time there and will continue wishing everyone at Dell nothing but success in the future.

lol at this "wisdom".
I was laid off. I got a job in AI, got compensation that makes others envy me, but I still visit this page. I will do it till the person who backstabbed me gets laid off.

"damage" by definition is not meeting standards set by someone. If that "someone " leaves or is replaced then the candidates are not "damaged" ?
This alone should make you walk away from such companies.
Job should benefit both in their growth, otherwise it is parasitic

My 22 years at Dell was great. I moved from Dell to retirement and haven’t looked back.

Human Behavior 101. If you've ever gotten your significant other back after they dumped you, you know what usually precedes that ... confidence, being seen with someone else, etc

Anecdotal. Besides, as the article mentioned, you don't want to work for those kind of companies/people.

Your xx years at Dell is going to do more harm to your resume.
