Every offer I get is lower than what I make here. Did pay go down across the board and I missed it or is something else going on?

I'm a Senior MTE (non-exempt). I love my job, but I'm also very concerned about this company's future. After looking around out there, the comparable jobs to what I do now in the same or similar industries pay $40K+ LESS than what I'm currently making. I'm not willing to take that much of an almost-guaranteed income cut with less than 10 years left until retirement. I'll wait until I'm escorted out. Su-ks, but it is what it is. Our Emergency Fund is on standby. (And no, I'm not quite Rule of 75 eligible yet.)
I've had two offers: Team Q is 30k higher than Intel (base) and stock was way better. Team AMD was about equal, but factor in a non 50% declining stock and it doesn't look too bad.
Yep, those who waited are competing with the other 400,000 tech people laid off. Labor is a commodity and excess labor drives down wages.
This has been happening for decades. The initial people that get laid off get the better jobs. The people that get laid off later find the more desirable jobs have been taken, then there is also the supply/demand issue.
When layoffs come, you need to be one of the early ones, before there is a glut of people looking for jobs.
That is one of the valuable things that you learn after 40 years of work experience.
Take the offer. This ship is sinking FAST.
Or simply supply vs demand. No one intentionally hires power point jockeys.
Maybe you are one of those guys who only create PowerPoints and if leave intel can find jobs in fast food industry. Are you offers from McDonald’s, Burger King, etc?
It is an employer’s market, wages are going down on new employees. If you are getting offers even close to what you are getting paid now then take it.
Above? Never.
Occam's razor would suggest it's not Intel paying more, it's you being worth less. Perhaps your technical skills got outdated working in Intel with either proprietary or outdated tools?
