Still having the CCP DoD Struggle Sessions?

I’m sure everyone has gone to the group meetings now, usually identified as “overcoming micro aggressions” or some cr-p like unrealized racism. Wake up people! These are HR Chinese Communist Party struggle sessions. If you don’t realize it by now, go look these up on the internet. If you boycott or avoid these, you will have a target on your back.
Doesn’t matter anymore just treating everyone with respect, now they have to manufacture that everyone is a racist or misogynistic.
Sc--w this. I’m outta here.

They might have "toned down" the DEI rhetoric but I don't forget. They showed me what they are all about.

There is a direct correlation with the rollout of DEI and the downturn of a company. There are countless examples of this from L3H, Boeing, Harley Davidson, John Deere, Dunkin etc. DEI is passive discrimination. Hiring/firing people because of gender or skin color results in a poor product because of subpar staff and mo--ns in leadership. L3H leadership is infected with the DEI virus which will now take years to unwind. Meritocracy is the way. There are better places that will appreciate you for just being the best. This is not the place.

Haha you all sound like a bunch of sore losers who probably su-ked at their job anyway. DEI or not, you probably su-k at your job and can't come to that realization. If you were a good worker, you would be treated normal. You are probably just a bad worker and a big cry baby just like you whining on here now. You're probably retirement age and look at you whining. You got all of the benefits of large stock market runs and growth throughout the last 30 years, low housing costs for the last 40 years, and now you're complaining because you su-k at your job and are being replaced. Instead of looking outward maybe you should look inward for the problems. Cry babies keep whining

“ but there’s a book several inches thick of requirements that must be met in order to qualify for winning federal contracts, and this includes DEI”

This! Don’t think L3Harris is incorporating DEI because they’re good lil alter boys.

"Are our adversaries hiring and promoting with DEI quotas?" ...Probably not. And neither does the competition like SNC. A privately owned company without a bogus board of directors and investors like Vanguard and Black Rock pushing some ridiculous woke agenda. Privately held companies can hire, retain and promote employees based on qualifications and performance without identity hires dragging them down. Imagine that. I am so glad I bailed on this stupid company before I was impacted by it. I will NEVER apologize for being white and male no matter who tells me to. L3harris su-ks ba--s and I hope they go under.

“I was a supervisor in Clifton. I had been working there (when it was ITT) since I was 20 years old. (38 years). I was a bargaining unit employee for 22 years before moving into management.….”

I was sad to hear they let you go. You are missed.

I was a supervisor in Clifton. I had been working there (when it was ITT) since I was 20 years old. (38 years). I was a bargaining unit employee for 22 years before moving into management. After the most recent merger,, the technical skills training officer was told to hire ALL applicants regardless of whether or not they passed the technical skills vetting process for new candidates. The class had a 50% failure rate but a 100% hire rate. (he has since resigned after 39 years with the company) When I was told to "find something for them to do", I explained that I could not assign work to people that had no idea what they were doing and could not read the process books. This was in early 2023. I was removed as a supervisor and demoted to a non-leadership position. This past April, I was let go because my salary was too high for the job I was given. I am a Caucasian male. My "diverse" counterparts were all paid more money and are still there. Nearly 4 decades of service and nothing to show for it. If you think you will be treated any better, you're wrong.

Are our adversaries hiring and promoting with DEI quotas?

Why isn’t everyone crying about diversity in major league sports? It’s because sports are purely about performance right?

Our main focus working in defense should be about making the best possible product to keep our service men/women and our country safe. Doesn’t that mean our product has to be of the highest quality and performance? Performance like the major leagues…..guess not.

DEI is a gimmick and discriminates against everyone not just Asian and Caucasian men. If there was too many Pacific Islander women and not enough black women it would discriminate against the Pacific Islanders. The best man, woman or they for the job, simple as that.

L3Harris and others do as big daddy Blackrock and Vanguard tell them to do. Blackrock has eased its stance on DEI as of late realizing it's hurting profits. We'll see how Blackrock continues moving forward. The BOD does whatever Blackrock wants!

“Spend our tax dollars at a defense contractor that is worthy of it”

The big defense contractors are all exactly the same lol.

I was there in Clifton when this DEI nonsense started. I was tasked with training some of them. The traditional vetting process was abandoned. People who could not read English were hired. I was told by my leadership to let them watch what I was doing while allowing them to charge direct labor to the job . I was told to allow them to sign off on work done by other people. This is not hyperbole. It really happened and when I raised the issue I was directly threatened with accusations of racism. I kept a journal of everything including names, dates and charge numbers. I also made copies of the falsified inspection reports . Now that I have voluntarily left the company, I intend to make all of it public. I won't stop until it lands with effect. This was unethical, dishonest and illegal.

Blatant reverse discrimination by this company is reprehensible and L3HARRIS should be sued. Perhaps when an America first administration is elected to office the American tax payer will kick this terrible company to the curb and spend our tax dollars on a defense contractor that is worthy of it

This is a big reason why I left a few years ago. I was told that I was not allowed to be promoted to the next level as the sector had too many other people at that level who shared the same gender and skin color as me. This was followed by absolutely ridiculous DEI training sessions and then witnessing corporate HR come in and push annual pay increases, hires, and promotions based on appearance alone.

ending diversity quotas is something that will come too late for L3 harris. diversity quotas drove the talent away and replaced them with identity hires whom the company is now stuck with.

They have toned down the DEI etc. rhetoric big time. The struggle session meetings you’re talking about were pushed way less heavily this year. I would say this is noble, but they are just following industry trends. Government is bracing for Trump v2 and/or Supreme Court legislation that will formally axe diversity quotas in government contracting.
