RTO rollbacks coming 1Q 2025. It’s not working, and leadership recognizes it. Heard this week further office consolidation will happen and re-consideration of occupancy indicators coming.

well, I'm heading on home then to work from my house. glad this garbage is concluded
its cancelled?? thank goodness! finally came to their senses!
Well, T has never been any good at having every org on the same page.
Guess we will see.
I have heard no news about wave 3 letters going out for Ward org or ATS anytime soon.
The latest news I heard was wave 3 for Ward/ATS will be sometime in 2025.
Wishful thinking, the post. None of this will happen until the headcount gets under 85,000.
In CTX town hall on Weds they announced that wave 3 letters were targeted to be sent out by end of September.
Also it looks like the newly updated presence report has the details how many days you badged in assigned location, even though it's not mentioned in the FAQ.
So unfortunately, these updates seem like RTO is still moving forward
No, wave 2 laid off people will not be reinstated.
I think the most likely scenario is them canceling wave 3, rolling back silly office requirements, allowing more virtual, getting rid of real estate to save money, then just doing normal layoffs to cut staff.
I don’t see them walking back wave 2 since it’s already in progress.
That’s just my 2-cents
Stink - Mission Accomplished. Achieved mass layoffs for free or low cost. No a failure at all. The Stink succeeded in increasing Toxic-T and wacking people in the most myserable way possible.
Stink gets that warm feeling running down his leg the sick F U C K.
I think she means that waves in the office are cancelled. moving hands in the air spreads germs around.
Well if waive 2 is cancelled then they should reinstate all employees who were laid off due to refusal to move.
“The waves are cancelled, yes.”
All orgs?
Any idea when an official confirmation of this will be shared?
This seems highly unlikely based on Stankeys hesitance to ever admit he’s wrong about basically anything.
Doubt it. I know several who are retiring this month to avoid moving.
"Are you saying that waive 2 exodus will be cancelled?"
The waves are cancelled, yes.
Are you saying that waive 2 exodus will be cancelled?
“I heard that with the cancellation of RTO, that there would be a huge straightforward layoff. I didn't hear 1Q 2025 though. Summers trickled out an announcement that the rollback was effective now. Breathe a sigh of relief you RTO resisters. HR aint coming after you now.”
Honestly, I’d rather them do performance based layoffs vs the way they’ve done RTO. At least then if you die, you’re dying based on your own merits vs living in the wrong place without the ability to instantly pick up and leave (or just simply can’t afford financially to pick up and leave)
They should have just done performance based layoffs to begin with.

Stankey,
Perfecting the art of taking massive L’s for since 2015.
Go figure, another giant failure for Stankey.
easy to consolidate offices with less employees. Less than 50K?
