Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Its nearly September pay up!!!

Surely by month 9 of the year they can work out the raise and pay folks. They just come out with multiple excuses, share price down, were working out the raises, it will be paid next quarter - which next quarter?

Meanwhile exec pay is agreed.

@1gjm+1ufCspeN It's so sad bit it's true. Regrettably as a long timer I've reached this conclusion. I'm using the time to tidy up a few things at home in a company that doesn't seem to give a stuff if I'm working or cutting the lawn, and like many before me will be off. No counter offer will make me stay. DXC has it's chance. I don't even care if I get paid less. As long as it's the same as my colleagues, as long as they say thanks mate, and fancy a pint later. I hate this company. I don't care if it and every client it services crashes, cos I'll be alright you threatened with redundancy long enough that I didn't pi-s it all up the wall so I don't need this job. You might think you don't need me either. I'm sure you'll work it out, but I'll get some consolation knowing you might not.

YOU are a direct liability to DXC. Just like the laptops and software licenses they have to purchase. NO MORE, NO LESS. Do you think DXC is going to pay MORE then they have to for these things? Of course not. They will negotiate the LOWEST possible cost to the benefit of the people who RUN the company. JUST LIKE YOUR SALARY. You are being paid the LOWEST POSSIBLE COST. It's called capitalism folks and the DXC big wigs know how the game is played. Do you think Mary needs a raise? 5 mil for an HR rep? How absurd. They all are "getting" while the "getting" is good. Then they leave, just like Salvino did. "Flock the employee but good" is the DXC mantra. Please ask for a raise at your NEXT employer because you will not get one at DXC. PERIOD.

Management spent a lot of time and money figuring out it's 0% for everyone. If you were going to leave you already would have right? Oh some people did. Oh well the rest can pick up the slack. Oh you didn't. Oh well - the work was probably pointless anyway! Yep it's very complicated moving a file from one server to another. The execs are no fools. We ain't leaving - what and have to go into an office and actually do something. Who will win is yet to be seen, but I don't see much actual value adding work being done as everyone is on a work to rule pending that market rate pay rise we all deserve.
