Any other segments hear of more early retirement packages being offered again?
Wondering if this is corporate wide or was just our segment.

Many years ago one of L3H's predecessor companies would offer "five and five" where, as an enticement to early retirement, they'd add five years to your age and five years to your years of service which bumped up your pension a bit.
But soon "five and five" meant five minutes to clean out your desk and five minutes to get out of the building.
Later they got rid of the five minutes to clean out your desk... some poor schlub was given the task of boxing up all your cr-p after you had been escorted out.
nobody is going to get a retirement package. The company doesn't have to be that generous and they won't. They're just going to lay you off.
Which segment? Haven't heard this in IMS yet.
