Does anyone know if managers, controllers and above be let go too?
everyone in finance and accounting should be prepared to be let go, though plenty of people have already been canned. absolutely insane that they think they can have accurate reporting without finance or accounting
Third quarter revenue number was missed. Gotta cut expenses
Merry Christmas.
It is truly disgusting how much of finance got expunged literally... South East here. Orlando team is gone.
I bet they are handing out fat retention bonuses to leaders that volunteer their teams to India. FIS finance is backstabbing dysfunctional group.
RE: "This is true…hundreds of us in Finance (accountants, financial analysts, billing, etc) were told our roles were being outsourced to India Accenture last week. Our estimated official end date is March 2025."
Do we know what levels are being let go? Analysts, managers, directors, etc.
Sounds like they are keeping the Finance team around until the 2025 budgeting and forecasting process is finished before letting the India team run with it.
2024 Q4 and beginning of 2025 Q1 will be interesting if true.
I’m really not sure if they are targeting certain regions…we are wfh in the Philadelphia area, also Milwaukee and Europe folks. So it doesn’t really seem to be following a regional pattern.
Are they targeting certain regions? I am in the northeast WFH.
This is true…hundreds of us in Finance (accountants, financial analysts, billing, etc) were told our roles were being outsourced to India Accenture last week. Our estimated official end date is March 2025. Absolutely no loyalty from this company and they cheap out financial statement reporting to India to pay them next to nothing. Good luck getting accurate numbers. We’ve had issues with the work quality of the India team so not sure why they are sending everything over there- obviously money trumps accuracy. Meanwhile Stephanie maintains her $20 million per year and continues building new facilities left and right. Thanks for nothing
That’s what she said….
I don't get this as there were already layoffs that happened just last week (right after this post was made I believe), are there even more layoffs to come on top of that? A lot of the people laid off last week were well compensated high performing employees (architects and working managers) so I'm not sure what FIS is trying to do with cutting even more after losing so much knowledge.
We'll wait and see, as with every doomsday post on here!
