Packages in Ireland are to forestall Unfair Dismissal claims. A successful claim would pay a max of 2 years salary. Cheaper to pay a package.

Worldwide Intel has about 12-14% eligible for ER, the VSP is a rouse and should have never been done as it’s not necessary to hit a target of 15%. Just pi---s off all employees with 90% rejection . ISP was the correct strategy post ER but yet again dreadful leadership

In Ireland won’t know until after sep 11th due to local labour law. Suite in a legally binding’s bd consultation process until 11th Sep. Legally Intel Ireland can’t notify anyone of redundancy yet

pxy+1ufhEeKw they had 15% ER, but not everyone who is ER eligible was taking the package. Many of those are 10+ years from collecting ss/medicare.
Source- employees stating this on Circuit when someone thought it was cute to beg all the people who got an ERP offer to take it and "save jobs".

Only if you're here 20+ years.
Most looking to leave have way less service.

Also, that 2yrs salary for a 20yr experienced Employee here is still less than the severance package of a 10yr Employee in Oregon.
The average for a 20yr service MT here is around 50k salary.
I know a lot of Engineers here 10yrs that are just about taking 60k.

@wqt+1ufhEeKw more like how riddiculusly excessive separation packages are in Ireland. I've heard you guys are getting like 2 years of compensation, would be foolish for anyone not to apply.

@haf
8 on my team, 7 of us applied for CPM.
None of us are ER eligible, probably lucky if even 1 of us get it.
Shows how fed up the Irish fab staff are of being paid peanuts for working under the crack of a wip.

@haf - exactly this is the type of stupid leadership that has led us to the current abyss, they had already more or less hit 15% needed with ER which stood at 12% all they had to do was a targeted 3% ISP

Why would they open up VSP just to deny 90% of them? Makes no sense. Someone is lying.

No news has been formally communicated regarding ERP. Expecting no surprises.

90% rejection on VSP is the word across all sites - ER however is auto approved in their infinite wisdom

They are not announcing anything until WW36. Sept 2nd through 6th. Until then nobody knows.
