Fully Remote Not Near HUB

Anyone fully-remote and not near a HUB or client center receive any RTO update? Anyone given the ultimatum to move or be let go?

I'm still not hearing anything from my manager or anyone else.

I know several that aren’t executive level that aren’t remote and aren’t worried. One is RCA mgr with a small team that lives in a RV all over the country posting new locations every few weeks. Another is in vendor relationships that is wfh that posts babysitting grandkids and shopping all the time.

There are lots of executives at the bank who are fully remote, so your best bet is just to find a way to get promoted and become an executive. Don’t forget about the little guy when you get there, though!

They have reversed their stance on remote folks. I know 2 who have gotten big promotions. I would not worry.

Look for a new job. U.S. Bank has gone down the toilet.

Don’t get too comfortable that you will actually be severed and get severance. They may either force you to come into a hub or you will lose your position.

Hi - I can only tell you what happened when I worked at BAC. Once the dust settled and they knew the head count - remote were the first to go.

I wouldn’t pretend to know what is happening all over but if I was a remote employee I would be very worried based on what is happening at this company. Good luck!
