Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Consulting Company

Is it true the consulting company suggested the way to turn things around is getting a CEO who knows that there are ways to grow the business beyond layoffs and cuts? Our current CEO that's all he knows how to do.

I have friends at BP, Exxon and such and the word there is that Mike and Mark’s reputation is a dollar short and a day late to the dance.

Very interesting; is that a conflict of interest?

How about MW’s kid actually working for BCG. Do people know that?

If you're conducting your business exempt from being a charity, then stop pretending performance reviews and town halls are worth a da. Gaslighting to world's end until you can cut what you don't need. You don't want your precious profits wasted right? Then stop wasting everyone's time and sell off the business, buy yourself a little cabana away from the people you want to personally fu, and let other sustainable companies have a shot to fix problems this company can't, just because investors aren't happy that they can't buy a couple of more mansions.

Well If I was the CEO and I knew that I could achieve the same or similar results with fewer employees then I sure know what I would do. We're not in the joy and happiness for as many workers as can possibly be employed business. We're in the producing oil & gas business. A business, like most businesses, is not a charity. Not sure why that is so hard for many to understand.
