"The Union, and you, members, don't care one bit about how many managers will be laid off to make up for another percent of your pay increase"

If you were paying attention, you'd notice we're getting laid off anyway, regardless of what's happening with the union. We (manager) are losing jobs because the union gets an extra couple of percent in raises. We're losing jobs to pad Stankey's retirement account.

We're all employees and all being lied to, and AT&T is lying to the public as well. Look at this statement:

"our goal is to reach fair and competitive agreements that recognize the hard work our employees do to serve our customers, with market-based pay and benefits tied to cost of living and projected inflation data." (https://about.att.com/pages/bargaining - August 30, 2024 updated)

When have you, as a manager, ever received benefits or a raise that is tied to the cost of living or projected inflation? What was your raise when inflation was double digits? I can guarantee it was less than 5%, and probably closer to 3%. Is that "tied to the cost of living or projected inflation"?

We, bargained and non-bargained, really should be rooting for each other. We're all being crapped on by the C Suite. If you are upset that the union is fighting for more, its because you don't have anyone fighting for you, and you just have to bend over and take whatever the company tosses your way. Your only recourse is to leave.

I didn't object to the CP until he, they, it whatever asked me if I wanted to see it then all bets were off. I immediately reached out to my peers in Jacksonville to pass a message to T man that I had another beat down situation for him.

I know managers who volunteered and were told no. Who knows what’s going on.

It's because the company uses the suffering of their own customers the same way the Union does. The union says, "you can't get your service fixed, because the Company won't negotiate in good faith!" (so cringe), and the company says, "you can't get your service fixed, because the Union workers make unreasonable demands and refuse to work". They both need the customers to suffer, this is the only thing they both have to try to pressure each other. So yeah, even is the Company could add more CP workers to take care of everyone, they don't, because the show must go on.

The Union is working directly against the interests of the management. The Union, and you, members, don't care one bit about how many managers will be laid off to make up for another percent of your pay increase, so claiming that management offers any kind of support to the union is a complete joke. Thanks for the laugh.

“Cool vague post”

It’s only vague if you’re ignorant.
