Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

The Player or the Coach?

When your favourite football team isn't meeting expectations and not in the top 8, the club hires a new coach and the players remain and next season you have a performing team.

We will let go the figurative "players" and the same "coach" will be in place.
What can you expect? The same result and different faces.

We had routine layoffs for my entire Chevron career of ~ 40 years and there were many different VPs and CEOs, etc. Now all of a sudden the current CEO is referred to as "Different and Unique" for having periodic layoffs to cull the herd and other reasons. I think it's just the opposite as to who is different and unique.

After a few years into his tenure, its always the coach. The coach picks the players and develops them. If his players arent good then thats on him.

MW should have been gone long ago. His layoff obsession has destroyed us. He needs to put some more of the animated cars but have them missing many parts since Chevron has been selling off and laying off it's employees. Will show the true state of things in the MW era.

I expect first round picks for a broken 29 year old.
