Do you get to know how much total severance you will be getting during 1 on 1 firing call on sept 16th or its just a quick script read by your manager and we will come to know later from HR what is the actual process here. Every individual severance differs based on tenure so was wondering when exactly we will come to know about this. Also do you have to stay 2 months on payroll or just take severance and run if so do we get this 2 months pay as severance

@4ipc. 4 weeks extra
For the extra service addon, for say 14 years, is it 4 weeks pay or 14 weeks pay?

Service add ons start after 10 years.
Agreed. After the one on one, an email with the exit information is sent.
In the past, the manager delivered the paperwork but that has changed.
Don’t take manager call. Let them chase you down few hours and days, and let them get the heat for unable to manage you well. It puts your manager in poor state.
extra one week for every year over 10 year of service. two weeks for over 20 years.
Are they still offering 1 week severance for every year of service?
“I have news for you ……”
Don’t say anything, don’t ask questions. You’re a toast. You’re done. Stay peaceful, this shall pass, too.
Your manager will not answer any of your questions.
All questions should be ask directly to HR connect
Quick script. Zero answers to questions. It’s inhumane and sanitized.
Manager call is just a basic script. Just enough to let you know your impacted and built by HR/Legal so the Mgr doesn’t say anything that’lol open Cisco up for a lawsuit.
After, you get an electronic communication with the details.
After 1:1 you will get package info via email.
Everyone wonders why it takes time once the lists are creates, and one reason is that individual packages need to be created (albeit there's some automation but still...)
