This is by far the worst employer I've ever had AND the only place I have worked where the longer you are here, the less they appreciate you. I've been here for three years and those have been the longest and most miserable years of my not-so-short career.

My B,S detector went off. Sounds like a personal grudge you have. No recruiter from another financial institution would say that let alone think that.
“ I was a little taken aback by a recruiter asking point blank if I was LDP and indicating that wasn’t a good thing.”
Yes there is life after SunTruist, especially if you’re hBBT. You are desirable to other banks because of the training you received and you’re perceived to have good work ethic. I was a little taken aback by a recruiter asking point blank if I was LDP and indicating that wasn’t a good thing.
It’s strange to come in here routinely to complain and the easy thing to do is find another job it will be caring fur yourself
Yall the job market is not that bad if you have skills/degree and are willing to work in an office 2-4 days a week! 100% of the teammates I know who got RIF’d recently have found jobs easily, multiple offers for most. Do t be afraid to try, get a fresh headshot for LinkedIn and pay few bucks for resume update and get out there!
“Why don’t you just leave then???”
Uhhh… have you tried applying to jobs in this market? Not so easy, sport.
And yet . . . you stay. Why? Why, why, WHY???
I love that the two replies (now three, including mine) basically tell the original poster to quit whining and leave.
I’m sorry you’re not happy, but after 3 years that’s a choice that’s on you. Nobody is forced to work at Truist - go ahead and see if the grass is greener elsewhere.
How about instead of whining, you go find another job?
Hey - you know what to do... get another job! You GOT this!!
