Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

18A debacle, TD Future

Notwithstanding zero customer interest, non competitive PPAC with respect to N3E (which is at mature yields), PG has the gal to say all’s well with 18A. It’s most certainly not! GAA and BSPDN, poor yields, large vt variability, marginal reliability make it unattractive by any measure. Why the charade? Why not be honest and admit 18A is no good, take the loss and focus on 14A? Or is this the untold grand strategy? Lack of transparency and credibility will bring down TD further- there’s nothing redeeming left.

Guessing it will take at least 2 more years for 18A to get to 0.4 dd. By that time, TSMC has A16. Where do you think customers will go?

Pat’s assertion of 0.4 dd in his Deutsche Bank Interview is a brazen lie. Pathetic really. External customers would be in line if this were true. Read it more like 2-5 dd.

When Intel finally admits 18A is no good, stock will immediately plummet down to 5 bucks.
