I believe Boston Consulting Group was involved in some LRs last year. Anyone know if there is a consulting company this time?

Check out thousands of layoff at Microsoft , Google and Amazon. Microsoft is more like Cisco, thousands of layoff in last decade. HPE is another company just like Cisco.
Intel is in same boat now.
Cisco has a lot of experience in doing layoff. They want to keep employee count close to 70-73K.
Cisco has enough experience with layoffs, they can start a consulting group to help other tech companies. LOL
Big wrong assumption there. The wrong assumption is that these guys are able to learn from their mistakes. What they are doing is rather close to the definition of insanity. Firing people for decades and expecting results on the business side. What they do is just a temporary patch to hide their management mistakes
