CX Partner Success VP gone...

Looks like Toni, the newly appointed CS EVP under Liz is wasting no time. Denzil S. is gone. Lots of nervous people in that org. Wishing everyone the very best.

"I never could understand what Denzil’s team was supposed to do in CX. They are not part of GPO and CX competes with Partners for Services. So why have this VP in CX when the GPO does the similar work."

Well, that is simply not true. GPO isn't doing this work nor have the bandwidth/want to do it. Neither do the the geo partner teams like APO. Denzil team is aligned to GPO and geos on partner CX and big part of the regional plans in helping partners drive CX (EA/Premium services) acceleration, adoption, and partner branded services to support CX. No other team is or can do that. Having said that...how it all plays out is the mystery, as Denzil team will be absorbed into the geo regions vs a global team...providing the same type of partner support. Role still needed, where it sits is the question.

Everyone is creating parallel redundant roles in Cisco to get promoted. ELT has no clue. CX as Partner focused role..GSSO has a VP ffor Partner ficus and a Director who focus on Partner MSSPs. All these are redundant roles if we compare with Partner Org. Now everyone is fighting for work - led to backstabbing to take credits, to show their importance, creating useless metrics/ppts/excelsheet to show their value bla bla bla...terrible. so accountability, no impact, no customers focus. They just spend whole time convincing their boss that they are valuable to Org. What a waste for money - but no chance for SE and Engineers.

Note those in directory will be vanishing soon, besides re-org and moving people around. Busy time ahead.

It is a bigger conspiracy that when new leaders from Google tried to optimize, merge CX/PX and build a one shop stop for Cisco's offerings but the ELTs and IT did not like it because in an essence stepping on their foot and snatching their bread and butter. That's why they scrambled the whole CX and PX orgs after letting go Maria.

Cisco should shutdown and kick the sales accelaration and market accelaration teams
These teams are accountable for Cisco's revenue down whereas the engineers are paying price and are shown the door because the sales/marketing failure.
