Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

If I’m an underpsid contractor/temp worker for Cisco, am I safe?

I'm a temp on a 12-month contract at Cisco Meraki, making $20/hour, and I've contributed a lot. Should I be worried about getting cut? I have a bachelor's from 2020 and 3 years of experience, but I got laid off from my first job after graduation, so I have some PTSD around it.

Temp/contract workers are not included in LRs. Contract workers can be let go at any time; that is the nature of contract work.

Do you really need cleaning staff for an office nobody goes to?

Troll post. Red badges making $20/hr. are H.S grads doing grunt physical labor, or are Sr. Trash emptiers in Janitorial.
