I got a 1 on 1 meeting invite from manager for sep 16 . Should I be worried .

The layoff one on ones will typically happen before noon on the layoff date.
Assuming Monday September 16 is the date, meeting invites would most likely go after work hours on Friday to early Monday morning.
Naa it’s just a reschedule of your regular 1-1. It’s too early for LR meetings to be scheduled. If you are that worried, just ask your manager, don’t be a pu--y
I read somewhere on here (so take it with a grain of salt) that managers aren’t allowed to send out invites until a certain date.
Maybe they’re allowed to send them early this time? None of us are stupid - we know what it means. An early heads up would be nice.

Makes sense to bring forward a 1:1 to reassure an employee after a massacre. I’d think termination invites wouldn’t go out yet.
LR is no joke for us, maybe it is very amusing for high level leaders.
Living cost is very high in US, no wonder there are so many homeless people. Rent, insurance, food ... etc. Only after you got LRed you will realized these stuff will beat you down and make you a "Yes Man" for your next mgr.
I am the OP and this is legit. My 1-1 that was supposed to happen few days after 16th got rescheduled to 16th.
