When a new CEO comes it, there is always a house cleaning. The old CFO was going to go - it was just a matter of time. The old CFO also has a little problem with the auditors, as they continue listing the problems in accounting they find with every audit - those pesky little games Honeywell plays. Tsk Tsk.
Imagine the skeletons the old CFO knows about!!!!!! They will keep him sweet, that is for sure.
They need time for a transition. Maybe the SVP role is just a placeholder title until they are comfortable with the new CFO going it alone. Of course they would pick something trivial like head of training videos.
SVP of Accelerator? What a joke of a concept. From head of finance for a former Fortune 100 to head of how-to video production for processes that should have been standardized 25 years ago. How long will they pay him millions for his SVP role? Guessing 3 months.
For those at the bottom the outlook is bleak regardless of the sideshow act currently playing.
The previous CFO is moving to a Sr. VP position. Not necessarily a demotion at all. I'm getting to like VK and his humility. Especially after DA and his arrogance.
It could be just that VK worked with the future CFO at HBT and just thinks he can do a better job than the current one.
