I was told our Rif’s were approved this afternoon and would be implemented next week.
It appears that NOV is now starting to give out PIP (Performance Improvement Plans) instead of layoffs. Why? Because they get to avoid having to pay their employees severance during a downturn and instead give them nothing and fire them. Dirty.
