Take the buyout. All it means is you can go to work for any company in the world except Intel.

  • Arrogant manager
  • Favoritism manager, he'll lunch with his favorite peeps only
  • Manager who shame you in meeting
  • A favorite senior engineer by the manager, frequently being promoted
  • He develops project for promotion, not impact.
  • No development opportunities due to being too busy
  • Meeting 50%, the rest are fragmented slots, hardly focus
  • Fake colleagues, virtual one
  • Anxiety and uncertainty
  • I'm all alone... cries

The only good thing: WFH flexibility.

  • Stoned MTs breaking equipment when doing PMs.
  • Stoned MTs running tools incorrectly & misprocessing WIP.
  • Stoned MTs watching YT all day (but better than breaking tools & misprocessing)
  • Stoned MTs trying to do spec edits & sc--wing up the formatting.
  • Stoned MTs on break and nobody to run priority WIP.
  • Little time to focus on individual OKRs because of all the work that needs to be done.
  • Calendar full of mandatory meetings to prepare for that take away from the real work.
  • Too much bureaucracy & incompetent lab personell causes delays in lab results.
  • A decent salad from the cafe salad bar costs $16.
  • Stock & RSUs are basically worthless while our competitors are making their employee millionaires.
