Supply Chain looking to unload legacy landline operations and attaching DIRECTV holdings to sweeten the deal. How many employees in landline?

It amazes me so many employees don't understand what landline AKA Wireline operations consists of. It's been at least two decades since any capital has gone into "landline" infrastructure. No one has spent a dime on any TDM tech since 2010. The billions being pumped into Wireline in the past 15 years have all gone towards converting "landline" into "wireline". The only copper work I ever do is disconnects or decommissioning. However, I work every day for wireline on the IPAG, Cloud, Edge systems that those billions bought.

Wireline has been for sale for a long time. No buyers.
Verizon's not buying it. T is the only one that stooopid.
Maybe Verizon will buy it.
Stank and Desroches will need to do something to get to the targeted FCF and debt reduction numbers. The temporary benefit from the strike is going to cause problems with future FCF.
hmmm no employees in landline as there is no landline division but there is wireline which includes all fiber, the internet backbone network, all of the fiber pon network, etc and etc.
lol some people are just d-mb.
Please sell off any piece of Toxic-T. Of course it will sell low, for a shiny nickel. That would be ok, so long as the buyer has to take the Stink too!
How would DTV sweeten the deal, now I know this is fake news. They can’t even keep ESPN channels active so I can watch football. Id--ts!

Let me guess, another shyster Stank flim-flam shell game deal like he’s brokered in the past with all the integrity of a penny-stock holding company.
Probably the same old playbook: Unload assets and the debt load of subsidiary A to another holding company, subsidiary B. Subsidiary B takes on the failing assets and debt load that the master holding company AT&T owns a major stake in. Then the shyster sk--k rebadges the already rebadged employees from AT&T to subsidiary B and now rebadges them again to the new subsidiary C.
Meanwhile, all the books start looking quite a bit fuzzy while his political cronies look the other way instead of following the money and dragging his a-s in front of congress.
