How Managers Inform working project teams - PMs etc., or are they informed?

Are Managers responsibility to inform PMs, Sales and Other members of projects team?

I know few folks LRed this February and they were isolated and ghosted right after being notified. No one contacted these poor LRed people, and were wondering if there is a formal process, or everyone to itself? They think managers must have informed projects and team members. Others have insights?

Yeah, you are never told who/what the impact is. Managers are told to NEVER answer those questions. So, by next week, most of us will spend 3-4 days trying to figure out who is still around, and what is plan B with 10% of plan A disappeared into thin air.

PMs are never told what's going on, you have to figure it out yourself when someone no shows to your meetings and/or ignores all pending action items for a couple weeks. Not sure having a PM try to hunt you down because they don't know you're "impacted", is "respecting the employee" but whatever. And yes, if you're LR'd count on being otherwise ghosted.

Yes be prepared for everyone to ghost you and act like you never existed on the next team call. It is the Cisco Way.

It's not required for managers to update the team. It's manager's ethic to do.

Through numerous LR, Cisco proven no one is critical. Project can lost 50% of workforce and still deliver on time.
