I have been hanging around Crown for over 20 years as part of the Good Ole Boy Network. Should I be concerned, I think my white privilege is paying off in the Gulf States.
Yes 10 new class A office buildings. Hiring an additional 2000 people and offering pet insurance

I was in the bathroom in SP and heard it’s off too. Heard they won’t sell Rapid as part of the deal. JB’s housing company is buying it and they would pave their driveways with it. The PE firm walked and said we need rapid it’s to amazing so they walked.
And how would you even know that?

They are hiring people back. Aka the sale isn’t happening anytime soon.
I heard they are going to hire more PMs.
Are you referring to the employees who were most recently affected by the layoff? Their last day on the payroll is December 13.
I left august 30th and only had to return my laptop and charger. I still have several crown polo shirts that I will be donating to Goodwill ;) I still occasionally use my AirPods I received in 2022 haha.
I would suggest to the remaining staff to consider external opportunities outside of crown since you working for an unstable employer that does mass layoffs on a regular basis. It is not ideal to be always anticipating the next round of mass layoffs so I would put resumes out to be proactive before the next round suddenly comes. They are going to be getting rid of a lot of tenured and senior staff so for those folks it might be better to stay and get a severance instead of just leaving unless they have an external offer that is acceptable.
