Life Insurance Pay Out

If you pass before a LR notification is officially made with your leader, will your family receive benefits?

Insurance would not pay if su----e is the cause of death. If you are sick, you have 30 days to transition Cisco life insurance to private life insurance to keep what you have been paying for. Double check me, but it’s 30 days from the exit day.

To the poster, I truly hope and pray that you are ok. The only time in life when we don't have any options is when we are gone. Your family needs you, not a big payout. Please try and remember that this is just a job, and life is so much more.

Your family is far better off with you and being poor than without you with a insurance payment. Plus it's not going to pay them for the rest of your their lives you are still needed.

Weird or just in deep despair? Clinical depression is a real thing. Hopefully the cloud lifts once they are away of the steaming pile of toxic waste that is Cisco.

I know someone who reached out to HR seeking helping during a series of su----e attempts. HR didn't give one damn. Not even a link to a help line. Not even an offer to have a counselor talk to them. Complete disregard for life.

This person had been severally abused by their manager for several years. Stayed in the job out of desperation as her husband was/is very ill. She had one the those roles that required long hours and her husband's care drained her. She just didn't have the energy or mindset to interview and to leave when she should have.

Last I heard they were homeless. Tragic. I hope she is still alive, but I have my doubts.

The National Su----e Prevention Lifeline offers services to talk to a skilled counselor. If you are feeling distressed and need to talk to a counselor, please call 1-800-273-TALK (8255). If you prefer to chat to a counselor online, the National Su----e Prevention Lifeline offers that service.

They would receive it at any time before your last day. Yes. And that is not a recommendation.
