Not trying to scare you, but it’s a toxic place to be in. You may not realize right away, but don’t stick around too long to find out. I’m not saying it’s a really bad place to work, but the longer you stay, the less valuable you become. Cisco’s culture may make you slow, lazy, and unfocused, so get out before you get affected.

Unbelievable that we are promoting hiring for college grads and laying off on the other end. What is in this Cisco sausage factory stinks!!! We are a very unethical company, and we know how to do it legally too!
This is simply how the IT industry operates; there's nothing under the sun. Cisco is a solid workplace, comparable to many others, if not superior. Companies often face difficult choices, and those decisions ultimately impact us, the worker bee. However, I've realized that there's nothing Cisco or any other company can do to me that Verizon Business hasn’t already done. So, let's stay focused, formulated next steps, and hang in there.
Even true for new red badges. Learn what not to do for few months then get out unless you are into politics and firedrills.
The early-in-career community and recruiters put out a CV and interview tips workshop a few weeks after the LR announcement. That's how cynical HR folks are. One of their Slido questions asked "When was the last time you had an interview?" - the target audience were grads and interns... What sort of sick organisation asks this tone-deaf question?
Grads are always impacted. I know many in all theatres who've been axed 6-months into their career in the past 2-years in all departments. Sh-t place to start a career.
Can they layoff new grads also? People on g4 & g6?
Also be careful after you quit because this garbage corporation will try to steal your intellectual property.
I wish someone told me this when I first joined. Took me several years to realize .
