There is no rubrics here. Cisco doesn’t have any rules who the messaging comes from, the only rule is that it gets done. If needed, it could be done by HR, someone you don’t know.

Also meetings don’t have to be set up ahead of time, it can be an ambush.

So calm down. If it’s going to happen, it will happen. It’s out of your control. Your anxiety is the unseen harm the ELT enjoys.

That could mean your manager is on the way out. if someone is getting fired, they won't be allowed to let anyone else go.

yes it can. If your managers manager is making the call then your manager is either in PTO, sick leave or out the door
