Is there an area of the bank that isn't toxic? The culture here su-ks.
The number of managers in Risk that don't manage people is ridiculous. This area is long overdue for RIF.
Toxic masculinity is the theme in CBB Risk management and leadership, even from the female managers and leaders. They do not care about anything or anyone other than protecting themselves and their positions.
There’s an actual human being with a first name Major (sounds like a kids cartoon name) who embodies the toxic masculinity problem. Treats men differently than women, just a trollish little man.
It’s sad yet not surprising that all of fraud is exactly the same. Seems we’re all up creek without a paddle.
Why are any of us here? Just let the bloated d-mb management lead the sh-tshow. They dont want anyone experienced wnough to speak up. They want sheeple that comply and say yes sir/yes ma'am.
The best thing I ever did was get out of CBB Risk. The toxic leadership is perpetuated by Justin himself. Leaders are not held to account for poor results. But the most disappointing part is being dismissed when raising concerns about significant risks, regulatory violations and control gaps. Cleaning house of middle management is the only solution.
There are a handful of personalities in credit that the bank correctly RIF’d two years ago only to inexplicably hire them back into more impactful roles. The Midwest is especially “blessed” to have multiple folks who are terrible at credit and even worse at being decent human beings.
