Email is out to people who have to tell someone they are laid off. There is a link in the training email that you can click and it shows you who you are to lay off.
Mangers do not have severance info. When the conversation is over, they press a button saying “complete” and that will trigger an email with the details and access revokes (building access, etc.).
Which VPs?
Have seen 2 x VPs declare this week their oddly timed choice to 'retire/leave to spend more time with family'. Impressions matter, right?
They've had plenty of time to organize this situation. It has been planned down to the last email. It's best to be mentally prepared if you think you will be hit. And at the end of the day, this (hopefully) will be the best thing for you that leads you to something better.
