We have had slogans, not strategies since JW left. Major international BUs have disappeared without a whisper. Still no coherent strategy. Very sad.

Blame everything on project performance and not culture or subsurface outcomes.
We have concepts of strategies.
We do have a well defined strategies.
Sell off assets and production. Drill Baby drill in Permian even thought we target gas and not valueto get to the 1 million BOEPD (emphasis on E - Value shouldn't be considered when chasing targets). Give money back to shareholders rather then use it for adding production or acreage. Ki-l all M&A until only scraps are left (think Pioneer and Anadarko missed opportunities). Throw out word Digital and let squirrels chase everything but and make sure effort is not just focused on big hitters , Simplification by using agile and avoiding Project Capital. Make labor cheaper by sending overseas. Seems clear as day to me
MW needs to go!
They deliberately decimated experience and proven results in favor of inexperience with no resume. How has that all worked out?
You can read the strategy nonsense on the corp planning and strategy page on the intranet. It should be cascaded to the top of your PMP annually along with lower level strategies and objectives.

The only ones left are Abu and tco. You don't need to get paid 40 million to double down on permian, sell assets and lay off people. PSG 23 at 150k annual pay can come up with that strategy. It takes extraordinary talent to grow a profitable business ... something that mw predecessors have done ... which is now selling to make short term profit.
