Cisco networking business has long been in decline. It appears that the decline was under JD but in fact those who caused the decline were people like G2 before JD. Letting G2 run the networking business is equivalent to asking the patients to run the asylum.

We all complain about the layoffs and the bad business and so on - I don’t know why the leaders don’t see the thick management layers - the number of vp’s and directors! I mean they are people too and I don’t like LR’s but the org needs to be streamlined - you can’t 3 levels of directors and 2 levels of VP’s !
