Some companies go all out to take care of their employees and make sure to do whatever they can to avoid layoffs or at least keep them to a minimum. Then you’ve got the ones that jump on any so-called "crisis" as an excuse to lay off as many people as possible. Can you guess which group we belong to?

In the words of Cisco's own executive management more than ten years ago, any company that has to layoff people annually is poorly managed.
Cisco is a rarity in that it manages its people to become incompetent, recognizes the result without grasping the cause, lays them off then rinses and repeats.
