Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

USBank latest update is layoff

Anyone notice today they updated their strategy today and they had Cost efficient Operations as part of the theme.

So that means lots of layoff in Operations?

Digital platforms just eliminated whole CS teams yesterday, managers and all. CS is being made redundant given they are doubling the effort to outsource everything to india at this point.

U.S. Bank management neither cares about nor rewards those who contribute value. Certain areas in operations have already reduced headcount quite a bit this year (layoffs, attrition) , OP is right that they are by no means finished. I think there will be more offshoring

OP translation: Cost-efficient is a threat to my sense of entitlement instead of contributing value
