Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

CX Layoffs

We have been hearing that CX field team swill get impacted well. CSEs need to watch out. There is buzz here in APJC that in CX Americas there will be multiple VPs and Directors getting impacted. I guess nobody is safe. We know there are so many stacked Directors/VPs that there is no need for them. We are wondering what will happen in Jacquie's and Adele's orgs. Maybe they were too busy partying in an offsite in Rome. Nice to see Cisco money well spent while others are struggling.

CX Product Management is another org with some serious impact that is forthcoming. It is interesting to see people getting early notifications from their managers to prepare them for Monday.

At the end, we know the incompetent leadership still remains and run their orgs by fear and DEI efforts. Talent is not needed.

Be safe and report back what you hear.

LC already announced a change in roles and "One CX Contact" for Customers. They will likely open reqs for that new role and tell everyone to apply. Let the Hunger Games begin!

Anyone who isn’t in CX knows that CX is LONG overdue for a culling. Just about every salesperson I talk to has no idea how y’all impact revenue.

In the CX all-hands meeting, "J&L" said we have more touch points with customers from CX and want to reduce to a design of one CX leader, this same structure was present from 2017 to 2024, where are these awesome leaders for all these years.... and they talk as if they discovered it just now. Like the Eureka moment!!!

Why not train and move resources to different areas than fire talented, experienced individuals who worked so hard to build relations, or at least give an option of grade reduction if it's about saving Opex cost?

Jensen Huang - When you fire someone, there's the notion that they can't learn the job at hand, explained Huang—but he doesn't subscribe to that mentality. “I don't like giving up on people because I think they could improve,”
