Just got a 1:1 invite for Monday| TAC engineer G8

Are they expecting me to support customers for the next 2 months?

What location or workgroup?
Was not expecting too much impact to the TAC.

Nope. When you are notified you should stop working immediately. HR and your management have concluded you job function is redundant. You shouldn't do any handover either as why would you handover redundant work? Focus on yourself and find a new role. Best of luck - I've been in your shoes before.

No, you do not need to continue supporting customers. Once you are LR'd, you can look for a new gig. The other thing to point out is that my leader (a director) is calling each of us on Monday regardless (he always does this, as do many leaders). A meeting invite doesn't automatically mean gloom & doom tomorrow.

edit - you hold onto your laptop till the last day to sign the docs, then return it via fedex or whatever

no you are done as soon as the meeting is over, log off and start looking for a new job. you keep your laptop and accept the package via DocuSign or whatever it is on the last day 2 months from now. if you find an internal job before then, then you don't accept the package.
