This will be different. There is a serious downturn happening and this LR will be hard. be supportive of people as this could be a very long term issue globally. be kind and respectful.

I knew people in Cisco who left by choice in 2008 when they didn't get a package. The offers were lower but Cisco was such a horrible place to work people were happy just to get out. I also know people who were laid off in the best of times and never got back into their profession because they lacked skills and connections, so keep down voting all the posts saying "build your skills and your professional network."
