LR Prediction

The coming industry wide LRs slated for late fall and early next year will make this LR seem small

RTP closing sounds like the d-mbest thing that keeps coming up. Why would they close a tech center in a local tech economy that is actually cheaper than the west coast?

Or is it just a running joke?

Like RTP closing, 19, unions, and everyone quitting, the correct meme is "10,000-20,000 people will be laid off next quarter." Never mind the fact that Cisco already reserved $200M-300M of the $1B for the next layoff. Suddenly changing that value won't be well received by the markets.

Cisco is a company in managed decline and will likely have layoffs every quarter or other quarter going forward.

A soft landing of the economy is seeming more likely. Tech in general overhired during covid and that led to massive layoffs earlier this year. My guess is we won't be seeing continued layoffs in tech, except at Cisco.

More like a 1933 depression only now people wont bother to stand in a soup line or keep their sh-t together. They will riot and loot the grocery stores the minute their gov cards fail to work, Buckle up. this is just the start.

on the bright side civil war and fall of the dollar as world reserve currency will make the LR seem insignificant when you cant buy food. but theres always eating the dogs eating the cats.
