Sarah Walker has just sent out the email regarding a 'collective consultancy' exercise in the UK. This needs to take place before employees are notified that their job 'is at risk of redundancy'. An individual consultation then takes place lasting 4 weeks.
This whole thing is purely to meet their legal requirements and is a farce as they already know which jobs (people actually) are being kicked out.
To question 5 in the PDF from Sarah Walker: "I thought I was aligned in Workday to one of these locations?".
Well, from the list, I'm not; they are: Bedford Lakes, Finsbury Circus and Finsbury Square. None of these locations are specified in my Workday profile... so am I safe? Tag @paranoid_carrot in your replies. Thanks.
It’s a compliance thing, Bedfont and the London offices are big enough, in terms of headcount reduction, to require the formal consultation. The regional offices are not, but all at risk will be told at the same time.
Change is the only constant in the best place to work. Let the collective cull of hapless ICs begin while the worthless directors and excel-expert managers have a jolly. The great British farce.

Anything with the word “collective” in it is downright evil. Bottom line.
@paranoid_carrot not confirmed safe. My understanding is they have to notify people at these locations by law and as courtesy will notify people from these locations and other locations around the same time. You just don’t get the same legal notification currently.

Month of consultation begins after 24th Sept, so people will find out at the earliest, last week of October.
