Just found Im safe but cant say Im happy about it. Now just going to be wondering about the next one. Maybe the ones cut were the lucky ones. Maybe not in this current job market.
So per annum at least 4x as many announced redundancies as a really well run Co....
(and you can bet the Cisco ones were mostly FAR larger...
600 redundancies for Apple is headline news, 6,000 for Cisco is routine now...)

First, Whoever authorized the $21B Splunk acquisition should be Eliminated first, when Splunk was for sale in 2020 during COVID-19 time for way less, cisco denied it! After they became a hit, they jumped to buy as FOMO (fear of missing out).
A Quality leader should have the capability to assess the value of a product/company ahead of the future. Not FOMO.
Failed leadership - ELT
2021- Reduce Bonus percentages by a huge margin of G8/G10/G11/G12/G13. LR happened, and teams in SJ were sacked.
2022- LR Happened
2023- Splunk buy FOMO - LR Happened
2024- Double LR in One year
