Does anyone feel more productive being in office today?

Your grandparents went to work (perhaps even 6 days a week). Your parents went to work - office/factory (perhaps even 6 days a week). Those who live paycheck to paycheck go to work everyday and have two or more jobs. Those who are healthcare workers (like nurses, most doctors, etc) have never experienced remote or hybrid work. After all you signed a contract with the company that you would follow their policies and work for them for a paycheck. Stop complaining and just go to the office and work. Sure, you will notice the noise, people walking to your desk to ask about issues or just to talk, etc. but you'll get used to it, just like you did before covid. You'll wish you were in the office when you get laid off and don't have a paycheck coming in to pay your bills.

How are the heavy thinkers today, still saving the company for us all? I quit thinking I was important a long time ago. Everyone thinks they are the greatest contributor ever, especially the underperformers. If you are ever in a position to review employees, you will see how they rate themselves. The worst are always self professed 5's and the legit 5's give themselves 3. I hope this one has about 300 negative votes, shows you what a bunch of deadbeats work in this place.

If you don't like working there, just leave. Dust off your resume and try your luck. The company did this because they calculated the number of people that would probably quit and they're OK with the numbers. Some of the folks that returned to Clifton found some redundancy from others already doing their jobs. Yikes!
Anyway, better to leave than be kicked out. Laid off or fired are both bad.
Getting another job while employed is good.
It puts you in a better position to negotiate.
Time to practice the art of the deal.

@mom+1uxjR4uo Those that didn't come in and do not follow company policies will eventually be fired (not laid off). No unemployment collection if you get fired.

“the heavy thinkers with time to post here, haha”

We take breaks just like y'all too, but not 30 minute long conversations where us carrying the dead weight are on the verge of yelling out STFU

A lot of my coworkers who were supposed to come in didn’t… so not sure what that means for them.

Anyone still working remotely? Did they take away access to VPN or is it still working?

also the same… not feeling MORE productive, more or less the same. but commuting an hour into office , when I could’ve put that hour to actually working was annoying.
