Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Fed Cut and LRs

Today, Feds cut rates by 50 basis points.
Last two times this was done:

  • 2001 - unemployment rose another 2.1% followed by recession 📉 and mass layoffs.
  • 2009 - unemployment rose another 5.3% followed by recession 📉 and mass layoffs.

what happens this time around?

Why cutting rates is not good for high tech? I always thought cutting rates will improve the economy.

The rich and getting not just richer, but disgustingly richer while we poor peasants fight over who won the presidential debate, and are so divided as a nation. It's exactly the same at work. Politics and toxicity to keep us weak.
