Considering a BM role for BoA- would appreciate any insights of the culture. Is there hefty sales goals pressure? I also noticed branch hours are 10-4, which is appealing as it’s better than most banking branch locations. Is the expectation 10-4 for these locations or is there mandatory working hours of a more traditional day 9-5? Any insights, feedback would be so much appreciated! Currently at wells, which the culture from leadership is so toxic- want to make sure I’m not considering a worst environment.

Was in the FC for 6 years before moving to back office role and it's toxic, your open hours may be 10-4 but you'll be there before 10 and after 4 while the FCM is salary the rest of your staff is not and will need their 40 hours to the dot and it's not a good look if your staff is in and your leaving at 4:01:01. It' toxic asf, the goals are dated and never match the current traffic, and everyone hates one another
Former FCM here. It’s hostile AF and you have no say in who hires for you. Your Market Leader does all the interviews and then sticks you with cr-ppy hires who do not want to work. There is no bonus anymore either. It used to be a percentage of what revenue you brought in but they took that away. Now a bonus is discretionary and based on favoritism. Run away and go to Chase.

Yes many FCs have 10-4 hours but know that doesn’t mean you work 10-4 .. from the hours of 8:30-10 and 4-530 your team is suppose to be making outbound calls, that’s the reason for the shorter hours to drum up traffic. Also you are asked to work the occasional Saturday at other locations
Take the job at your own risk. This bank has so many incompetent leaders. You will find this very soon when you get here. This company promotes d-mbazzes. If you are competent and show any kind of excellent leadership skills you will be viewed as a threat. I wish I was lying about this but this is the absolute truth.
