Hi all. I’m an apprentice with a year long contract. The bank pays my bills and I have insurance through them. Just curious because I see contractors don’t get renewed, is that likely for me as well? I assume I have a better chance than contractors at staying. I do my job well and think I’m ready for the role but just curious on how apprenticeships are different than contracting positions.

i've had contractors (same peeps) on my team over 20 yrs.
what areas have Apprentice and what comes with that?
would it count against my FTE limit? geniunely curious.
Contractors are given a break every 2 years, I think it is, or else they may be classified as permanent employees, which the bank and/or contractor don't want. I think an apprenticeship is unlikely to have that condition, but I don't know.
