Asset Protection needs sales work history

A friend just went through an AP investigation and told me about it in detail. It is so funny to me how inexperienced AP really is.

Here is the formula to find fraud in mobility.

OrderTrack + ATTUID= every sale ever made by that employee.

The only fraud going on is in the fraud dept. Flagging normal accounts for fraud when there is none. Normal paying customers that want to add a line and they are flagged for fraud because they want to add another line of service. Sim card changes for customers in the store that have been properly identified - fraud. Upgrades for customers in store - fraud. We are the joke in the industry now.

Apparently you’re in AP. Funny how you guys fire people for orders the customers willfully accepted. How how you go after the big accounts were thousands of SIM cards are ordered for those cameras on the side of the road that are never used, oh wait, can’t do that!

It's funny how you think they're inexperienced, but they seem to be walking people out a whole lot. Didn't whole teams get swept up earlier this year and last?

It will at least get the obvious ones. Can't defend mailing hundreds of SIM cards a month to a small mom and pop business.

That's just one of many ways of fraud in mobility.
