Is tomorrow the big layoff day or are we not safe until we last through the end of the week without getting the ax?

If you think you are in the clear, sorry to burst your ray of sunshine bubble, but ya’ not! There will continue to be more and more - in waves to not cause major panic or having to report the layoffs in a negative light…. To the regulators, unemployment departments and investors.
Today is the day - the calls are coming out. If you make it thru the day I feel you are safe
Undoubtedly there will be a November round, but today should be it for October and at least the first bit of November.
I heard from my manager my area was done with layoffs but company wide was still ongoing
Let’s be honest - with the current regime of leaders, there is no “safe”. Stability at USB is a thing of the past. Everyone should expect their role to evolve or be eliminated. It’s sad, but the last several years have proven to be the new norm.
There are other posts on this board mentioning layoffs in mid-November.
From what I understand, after today if you haven’t already been notified you’re in the clear.
