Chem lab down one at Redmond from the 60s buildings, she did chemical analysis.

Really not sure what's going to happen with AR. My best guess is L3 will cut the propulsion side loose and let it rot. This isn't sustainable.

Yes, AR at Canoga Park was affected. I was one of them. Spent over 20 years with the company and was told that my skills were no longer needed. I started with Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne and as soon as UTC put Rocketdyne up for sale, our days were numbered. Too bad Rocketdyne couldn’t stand as a separate entity and wasn’t purchased by a better companies other than Aerojet and L3 Harris. Rocketdyne is slowly dying.

So was it only AR and possibly a few CHQ? Can anyone confirm if there were layoffs in other segments?

They just sc--wed you out of severance I think.
I'd have a lawyer do a consultation for free on this one.

"This is one of many stops to continue to align operational costs with our strategic objectives" so there are more to come!!!!!! Don't be surprised when it is you. Like it has been said you are ONLY a number to them.

The AR email: “We continue to evaluate opportunities to drive efficiencies, reinvest in the resources available to our workforce and maintain our industry-leading investment in technologies to satisfy our customers’ most critical missions. We made the difficult decision that a reduction in force was necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability of our business. The action completed today impacted approximately one percent of our segment. This is one of many stops to continue to align operational costs with our strategic objectives. I appreciate your hard work, understanding, dedication and continued focus on our journey ahead.”

SAS in Clifton is next but not until next week. Rumor has it it will be far above 1%. With operations being hit the hardest. Middle management positions as well as bargaining unit positions will be affected.

Hope they get rid of the worthless waco management they had on athena. They kept saying hurry hurry hurry and finish the planes. Get them flying. We are guaranteed to win hades if they are flying. Did we win? No.

1% of aerojet was laid off and that email went to that division from the president of AR. Through confirmations I got. I don't think this is over for the other divisions unfortunately.

I never got an email.

Maybe only certain divisions were affected, and those are the ones that got the email.

Maybe other divisions have yet to hear

Any word on the Greenville site? I find it hard to believe that other sites would reduce and not have a substantial reduction in Greenville.

Usually copy/paste stuff about how it was to reduce redundancies, become more efficient, and how it's always hard to have a reduction in force. So, probably copy/pasted for each segment leader to send out.

security director? OOOOOOOOOOO, there was one at csw and he would stand around too, I dunno wtf he was going to do, he was about 58, 5'9 and 260 pounds and looked totally unfit, not exactly Randy Couture. Security and power is all based on legitimacy, those dudes are rubes with more access to more intel than you do, if it was just some dude like that standing in my way no problem.

"3 people in CHQ IT thus far"

Whole lot more than that to get rid of, of course they will keep the star management track kids that know nothing and take borderline weird photos with their management.

I just gave my two weeks resignation and I was told to leave immediately and was escorted out within minutes. I was told forced to change resignation date to today and badge, laptop, work phone taken. Was not able to talk to anyone, being rushed and escorted out of the building.
How sad L3harris has become after being with L3 for 10 years
